Monday Morning
On Monday morning arrive at Park School on the Dartington estate at 9:00am with a set of wet weather clothes and some decent foot wear and a pack lunch, and nothing more.
Everything else is provided and you will be well looked after on each of your activities by our excellent crew.
If you are camping for the week then there are a few extras you will need. Make sure you have the following things:
- A Tent
- Sleeping Bag
- Roll Matt
- Pillow
- Pijamas
- Toothbrush & Tooth Paste
- Wet Weather Cloths
- Spare cloths for each day
- Something for midnight feasts
Our team will be there to greet you and we will help you get set up and show you around the incredible space we have to explore.
An adventure every day
What will happen each day?
Each day you will get a chance to try out 2 fantastic activities from the list you chose during booking.
We ask that you chose 8 things you are happy to do as even though we aim to give you 2 half days in your preferred 5 activities, sometimes you might end up doing a selection of all 8 as this is just the way your timetable works. We will send you your timetable before Young Dartington starts and if you are really not happy with something we will do our best to move things around for you.
Each morning after we have breakfast we will embark on the morning activity. You might be off climbing the local rock face or caving deep under the ground.
After the activity we will all have lunch together and there will be an hour to make some friends, play more games or if you prefer just sit back and relax.
Each afternoon you will embark on the second adventure of the day which could be anything from designing t-shirts and fabric painting to bushcraft in the local woods.
Every Evening
What do we do after the activities each day?
After the days activities are finished we will all get a bit of time to relax.
If you are not camping then your parents will come and pick you up in the afternoon after your 2nd activity finishes around 4:30pm
If you are with us for the week then will be cooking food, lighting the camp fire, hanging out with friends and of course playing more games if you still have any energy left!
When the sun goes down we will help everyone to bed and after some tooth brushing all end up on our tents.
The end of the week
What happens on the last day?
After the final adventure on Friday afternoon your parents will come to collect you.
We ask that all parents bring something for a final tea party and we will have a massive feast to celebrate a brilliant week.
